The Chicago Summer Business Institute is looking for students who are eager to work and learn.
Eligibility Requirements (student must meet all requirements):
- Student must be a resident of the City of Chicago;
- Student must currently be a Sophomore or Junior;
- Student should maintain a “B” average or better;
- Student must attend either a public/charter, parochial or private high school;
- Student must have a valid social security card; and
- Preference is given to applicants whose annual household income does not exceed $80,000 a year
Application Materials:
- Complete an ONLINE APPLICATION and upload all required forms
- Complete the CSBI Income Verification Form
- Provide Updated Resume (REQUIRED);
- Provide Two (2) Letters of Recommendation (one must be from a high school teacher, counselor or school official);
- Provide Official High School Transcript, and
- Upload a 500-word Essay on the online application system (Word document or pdf file accepted)
After the initial application review, students will be notified via email regarding his/her scheduled interview date. If necessary, please visit www.yahoo.com or www.gmail.com to sign up for a free email account for convenient receipt of notifications from the Chicago Summer Business Institute.
Returning Students: You must re-apply using the online application, submit current documents and meet all of the eligibility requirements of the program to be considered.
